The Lord made all of us special. According to Max Lucado, "Cure for the uncommon life",He packed us with a "knacksack", equipping us with the necessary skills and talents for us to lead the life that He has planned for us.
I regret at times that i don't make full use of the skills and talents that have been packed for me. In short, i don't glorify the gifts that God gave me. Lethargy, busyness, too many things to do... those are the common excuses that i provide for myself. To be fair, i am indeed trying to cope with more work than i've ever had to in the years before. However, whenever i'm reminded of the times that i choose to sleep instead of complete my task at hand and i can't help but feel like there's so much more that i can do.
Hence, i pray that i'll leave this part of me behind with the Lord's strength. Pray for me if you see this, k? If you're facing the same situation as me, let's work together to leave this state of sloth behind. Let's be faithful servants and receive the one praise that matters... to hear Jesus say: "My good and faithful servant, you have done well...."
Ciaoz..

Original Finger lickin' Good NYC A2 on board a ship?? Surprise! =) Betcha didn't expect me! Another mind-boggling game of blockus... Save my brain cells! I can't seem to find my birthday pictures, which i swear i saw it the other day... so i'll have to wait till next time before i post it. Meanwhile, let's talk about what's happening lately. It's the 10th week of the school term (for me... not you, if you're not from ntu... -_-) and its been like a ride on a train. A bullet train. So many things to do, so little motivation and time. The only good thing about being in this train is, at the very least, you're forced to move. Then again, there may be absolutely no work done. Just moving through the motion of things and then when you're asked what you've learnt, it's a blank. I can honestly say that i've learnt how to throw "smoke bombs" in school though not as well as some of my friends do, but nonetheless. Don't knock it ok, it's a good skill to have. It's known as... " adaptability" or "quick-wittedness". I think it's a good skill when added on with a generous dollop of confidence. However, i believe that it's only the icing. Therefore, "adaptability"= icing, confidence= cream and what you are lacking is a cake, i.e. the substance. By right, the knowledge we acquire over these 3 years (or 4 for those who really love the school!kidding... i mean those who have so many aus to clear...) is the cake. The funny thing is that there's this little "thief" that steals a bit of my cake every sem. So my cake is kind of missing layers here and there. Wait till i catch that "thief"! Enough of cake, i'm getting hungry. Have to get ready for driving lesson. Anyway, those of you who have your cake, please protect it well. Bake extra layers or something. If you happen to be able to find a name to the thief, tell me about it, k? Tip for the day: Giving tips makes people happy, spit doesn't. So happy tipping! Ciaoz!

I'm curious to know what makes a friendship a true friendship. Is it
a) being there for the person all the time
b) loving(friendly-love) the person all the time (does not mean you think about the person all the time)
c) caring enough to share your burdens, happiness, frustrations etc.
d)caring enough not to share your burdens, frustrations and all other negativities
e)meeting the person only on special occasions
f)telling the person the truth
g)lying to the person
So far, i can only think of these aspects offhand. I think the points are all valid albiet debatable, with the exception of g). I would be very disappointed if a friend of mine lied to me. What about you?
Ciaoz.
